Treatment for Athletes by Athletes

Shelly Taylor

She has spent most of her life on the field or on the sideline, playing softball from tee-ball through high school, keeping score for basketball and cheerleading before pursuing her career as a Certified Athletic Trainer at James Madison University.  Shelly continued her education receiving her masters in Health Promotion and Exercise Science from Middle Tennessee State and later adding a certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Shelly enjoys keeping athletes in their game and rooting them on from the sideline.  At the same time she loves competing and looks forward to getting back into organized sports.  This involvement will begin with the Ukrops Monument Avenue 10K as she participates in her first Richmond area event of many to come.
