Welcome to the 9th annual Twin Hickory Youth Triathlon! The event benefits the Susan Komen foundation and also the Central Virginia Autism Society.
Important Dates and Times
- Packet Pickup is Friday, Aug 20 from 3 – 6 pm at Commonwealth Sports Medicine.
- Race Day is Saturday, Aug 21.
- Race Check-in is at 7am.
- Race Start is at 8am.
- Parking: The parking lot closes at 7am. If you would like on-site parking, please be sure to arrive before 7am.
- Athletes must be on pool deck by 7:30am

The Rules
No drafting is allowed on the bike. Helmets must be worn at all times on the bike and must be ANSI and/or Snell approved. No interfering with other competitors. This is an individual event. Read the Complete USA Triathlon Rules.
Inclement Weather
The race director reserves the right to alter or cancel portions of the race as deemed necessary for safety reasons. NO TRANSFERS, NO REFUNDS.
Awards
All preregistered finishers will receive a medal. Age group winners will also receive trophy (3 deep).

Distances
Age 10 and under participants:
- Swim 50 meters
- Bike 1.1 miles
- Run 1/2 mile
Age 11 and older participants:
- Swim 100 meters
- Bike 2.6 miles
- Run 1 mile
Course
The swim will be in the Twin Hickory Community Pool. The bike course will be in the neighborhoods close to the pool. This year we have an improved bike course. The run will be on the jogging path in Twin Hickory. Please review the maps below to ensure a safe race.
